Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to furniture, in particular to devices for setting in motion rocking furniture items, such as beds or rocking chairs, intended for human relaxation and stress relief.
[0002] A device for moving a swinging piece of furniture is known, described in the European patent application EP 3888500 A1 "Device for driving a swinging object", published on 10.06.2021 under class A47D 9 / 02.
[0003] The specified device for moving a swinging piece of furniture comprises a housing with a device for attaching it to the swinging object, a control unit installed in the housing and a drive unit (block) connected to it, as well as a rod pendulum with a load, functionally connected to the drive unit in such a way that the pendulum load can deflect in one plane due to movements initiated by the drive unit, as a result of which the device receives motion pulses that act on the swinging piece of furniture, wherein the control unit is made in the form of a microcontroller, and the drive unit in the form of a servo drive.
[0004] A disadvantage of the above-described device for swinging furniture is its inconvenience. It requires a high-power motor, as the load moves, including upward, against gravity. This increases the device's size and noise, making it difficult to install in confined spaces, such as under a bed. If the load swings at the pendulum's natural frequency, the furniture will swing with a beating effect, the frequency of which will be approximately equal to the difference between the natural (resonant) frequencies of the device's pendulum and the furniture being swung.
[0005] The objective of the claimed utility model is to improve the ease of use of a device for moving a swinging piece of furniture.
[0006] The technical result that allows solving the stated problem is a reduction in the dimensions of the device, allowing it to be installed in a limited space, a reduction in the noise level from its operation, and also ensuring smooth rocking of the furniture item.
[0007] The stated result is achieved by:
[0008] 1. In a device for moving a swinging piece of furniture, comprising a housing with a device for fastening it in the piece of furniture, a control unit installed in the housing and a drive unit associated with it with a load operatively connected to the drive unit, having the ability to move inside the housing with involvement in the movement of the swinging piece of furniture, according to the utility model, the device is equipped with a control panel connected to the control unit, equipped with an accelerometer.
[0009] 2. In the device according to paragraph 1, according to the utility model, the drive unit is made consisting of an electric motor and a transmission connected to a load, having the ability to reciprocate along a rectilinear guide.
[0010] 3. In the device according to paragraph 1, according to the utility model, the control panel is made in the form of a removable control panel connected to the control unit via a wireless communication channel.
[0011] 4. In the device according to item 1, according to the utility model, the control panel is made in the form of a remote control panel connected to the control unit via a wireless communication channel.
[0012] Equipping a device for moving a swinging piece of furniture with a control panel connected to a control unit equipped with an accelerometer allows for a reduction in the size of the device, which makes it possible to install it in a limited space, reduce the noise level from its operation, and also ensure smooth swinging of the piece of furniture, as a result of which the claimed device is more convenient to use.
[0013] In this case, the drive unit can be made consisting of an electric motor and a transmission connected to a load that has the ability to reciprocate along a straight guide.
[0014] In this case, the control panel can be made in the form of a removable control panel connected to the control unit via a wireless communication channel.
[0015] In this case, the control panel can be designed as a remote control panel connected to the control unit via a wireless communication channel.
[0016] The proposed set of essential features imparts new properties to the claimed device for moving a swinging piece of furniture, which make it possible to solve the stated problem.
[0017] The claimed device for moving a swinging piece of furniture is new compared to the prototype, differing from it in that:
[0018] 1) the device is equipped with a control panel connected to a control unit equipped with an accelerometer,
[0019] 2) the drive unit is made up of an electric motor and a transmission connected to a load that has the ability to reciprocate along a straight guide,
[0020] 3) the control panel is made in the form of a removable control panel connected to the control unit via a wireless communication channel,
[0021] 4) The control panel is designed as a remote control panel connected to the control unit via a wireless communication channel.
[0022] The claimed device for moving a rocking piece of furniture can find wide application in furniture production, in particular, in devices for driving rocking pieces of furniture, such as beds or rocking chairs, intended for human relaxation and stress relief, therefore it meets the criterion of “industrial applicability”.
[0023] The claimed device for moving a swinging piece of furniture is illustrated by drawings, which are shown in:
[0024] Fig. 1. General view of the device for moving a swinging piece of furniture with the cover removed.
[0025] Fig. 2. View of the device without the housing and control unit.
[0026] Fig. 3. Functional diagram of the device.
[0027] The device for moving a swinging piece of furniture, shown in the drawings (see Figs. 1, 2 and 3), comprises a housing 1, the cover of which (not shown in the drawing) has a device in the form of a group of holes for fastening the housing 1 with screws to the movable part of the piece of furniture. A control unit 2 is installed in the housing 1 and a drive unit 3 associated with it, consisting of an electric motor 4 and a transmission 5 (for example, a crank), connected to a load 6, capable of reciprocating movement along a rectilinear guide 7.
[0028] The control unit 2 is equipped with a control panel and is made in the form of a microcontroller 8, connected to an accelerometer 9 made with it on the same board. The control panel can be made in the form of a removable or remote control panel 10, connected to the control unit 2 via a wireless communication channel.
[0029] The device for moving a swinging piece of furniture operates as follows.
[0030] Using the holes in the cover (not shown in the drawing) of the housing 1 and screws, the user secures the device to the movable part of the swinging piece of furniture so that the direction of movement of the load 6 coincides with the direction of swing of the furniture. For example, when swinging a child's crib (not shown in the drawing), the device is secured under the bottom of the crib at its geometric center, with the direction of movement of the load 6 in the desired direction of swing of the crib. In the initial position of the device, the load 6 is located at the center of its trajectory.
[0031] After securing the device and connecting it to the power supply, the user places the child in the crib and, by pressing the "Start" button on the remote control 10, initiates the crib rocking process. Control unit 2 then activates electric motor 4 of drive unit 3. Gear 5 converts its rotation into translational movement of the associated load 6 along the linear guide 7.
[0032] According to Newton's third law, the crib moves in the opposite direction for a distance significantly shorter than the displacement of load 6, which, upon reaching the extreme point of its trajectory, reverses its direction of motion. The crib also reverses its direction of motion and begins to deflect (move) in the opposite direction. Between the extreme points of its trajectory, load 6 moves at the crib's resonant (natural) frequency, so the time of its motion does not exceed half the oscillation period of the piece of furniture. With each movement of load 6, the energy of motion due to resonance phenomena is transferred to the crib, which begins to sway with increasing intensity. Control unit 2, using accelerometer 9, records the change in the crib's acceleration and determines its resonant frequency for each oscillation period. The moment of load 6's initial movement is adjusted continuously by control unit 2 during the rocking process (in each period), thus creating a closed-loop frequency control system. The user can also set the rocking intensity of the crib, which is determined by the amplitude of load 6's movement, using control panel 10.
[0033] Thus, the load 6 always moves back and forth at the frequency of the natural oscillations of the furniture, so the device can operate using a low-power electric motor, ensuring smooth swinging of the furniture and low noise levels during operation of the device.
[0034] The claimed device for moving a swinging piece of furniture is more convenient to use compared to its closest analogue due to the reduction in the dimensions of the device, a reduction in the noise level from its operation, and also ensuring smooth swinging of the piece of furniture.
