Description

[0001] The utility model relates to the field of construction, namely to door hinges, and is intended for hidden installation of door and panel elements in profile structures.

[0002] A prior art heel hinge (patent RU 236101 U1, published July 28, 2025) for concealed installation in profile structures is known. The heel hinge comprises a connecting shaft, two elements with mounting holes and connecting shaft openings along the length of the elements. The mounting holes are parallel to the connecting shaft opening, and the connecting shaft opening is midway along its length. The connecting shaft is provided with a stop in its midpoint. The disadvantages of this technical solution include increased friction between the hinge elements and accelerated wear of the structural components.

[0003] The closest technical solution is a set of fasteners for installing an under-tile inspection hatch (RU patent 0002806887, published November 8, 2023), including a bushing with a bearing and an axle that form a hinge, as well as stop tabs to prevent excessive opening and damage to the finish. Disadvantages of this device include complex installation, a lateral rotation axis that leads to loosening of the mechanism, low load capacity, and a limited opening angle.

[0004] The task that the claimed utility model is aimed at solving is to increase the accuracy of positioning the hinge at the installation site and the strength of the structure.

[0005] The technical result is to increase the reliability and durability of the hidden hinge mechanism by reducing wear and tear on the structure.

[0006] The specified technical result is achieved in that the hidden hinge contains two bent plates with mounting holes, shelves and holes for the hinge bushing, which is installed with the possibility of rotation in flange bearings secured in the specified bent plates, while ensuring the coaxiality of the bushing and bearings.

[0007] The essence of the utility model is explained by drawings:

[0008] Fig. 1 - general view of the device;

[0009] Fig. 2 - top view of the device;

[0010] Fig. 3 - side sectional view of the device.

[0011] The figure shows: 1 - bent plates; 2 - mounting holes; 3 - shelves; 4 - loop sleeve; 5 - flange bearing.

[0012] The concealed hinge comprises two symmetrically shaped bent plates 1, each made by metal bending. Each bent plate has a base in the form of a flat, elongated rectangular wall with rounded ends and is equipped with mounting holes 2 for securing the bent plate to the door leaf and the fixed part of the profile structure.

[0013] The bent plates of the hidden hinge are arranged parallel to each other, forming a gap between them, and the shelves are bent in opposite directions from each other.

[0014] Along the longitudinal edges of the base of each bent plate 1, shelves 3 are formed, each having a different geometry and height. On one side of bent plate 1, a shelf is formed as a rectangular bend, oriented at an angle to the plane of the bent plate's base. On the other side, the shelf is stepped and divided into two parts, which are symmetrically located along the longitudinal edges of the bent plate, forming a gap between them. Each part of this shelf is a rectangular section, positioned at an angle to the plane of the plate, which has a stepped cutout at the base of the bent plate, forming a step. When bends are formed near the bearing hole, internal stresses arise in the material. The presence of a step reduces the rigid connection between the bend zone and the hole area, thereby redistributing and partially relieving the stresses.

[0015] The shelves are integral with the base plate (solid-bent) and oriented in the opposite direction to the corresponding shelves of the second plate. The rotation unit is located in the space between the plates, in the area of their central holes. The central portion of the plates contains coaxial mounting zones, in which the connecting unit of the two hidden hinge plates is installed. This assembly includes a hinge bushing 4 secured in flange bearings 5, which are located in the center of each plate. Flange bearings 5 ensure the centering of the hinge bushing 4 and its rotation relative to the plates.

[0016] Hinge bushing 4 with flange bearings 5 allows the door to rotate 360°. Flange bearings 5 reduce friction between structural elements and increase wear resistance. The flange shape securely holds the bearing within the unit, ensuring shaft stability and reducing the likelihood of misalignment, thereby reducing additional loads, as well as maintaining the stability of the rotation axis. The design of the elements and their relative positions ensure uniform load distribution, which, taken together, prevents deformation of the product during operation.

[0017] The use of a hinge bushing mounted in flanged bearings with alignment ensures even load distribution between the structural elements during operation. The alignment of the bushing and bearings increases the reliability and durability of the hinge and allows the structure to withstand increased operating loads, including those caused by increased door weight.

[0018] The mounting holes 2 are arranged to ensure uniform distribution of loads when fastening, with four holes on each plate, two of which are at the very base of the bent plate 1 and two on the high shelf of the bent plate 1. The mounting holes 2 are arranged symmetrically on the bent plates 1, so the load is divided equally between all points so that each fastener takes up the same portion of the external force.

[0019] This utility model does not have embedded parts, which often do not fit into the profile and require additional machining on-site. The absence of embedded parts also eliminates the need to drill additional holes when installing the concealed hinge, simplifying installation and reducing labor costs. The concealed hinge design is ergonomic and allows for quick and precise installation without the need for additional installation equipment.

[0020] These hidden hinges are made of stainless steel and are designed for the production of hidden hatches from the Hommet profile system, the size of which can be arbitrary depending on the needs of the Customer.

[0021] Example of a hidden hinge:

[0022] The length of the bent plate is 100mm.

[0023] Bent plate width 27.8mm.

[0024] The height of the smaller shelf is 11.2mm.

[0025] The height of the larger shelf is 26.2mm.

[0026] Diameter for bushing 19 mm.

[0027] The diameter of the mounting holes is 9.2 mm.

[0028] The installation process is as follows: first, an opening is formed from the profile system, then a door corresponding to the opening dimensions is made from the same profile. Concealed hinges are installed on the top and bottom edges of the door and secured with screws through the provided mounting holes. The door, with the hinges installed, is then mounted into the opening frame, spaced 30 mm from the edge of the frame plus the thickness of the intended door trim. Final fastening is accomplished with screws through the hinge mounting holes to the frame.

[0029] Thus, the declared hidden hinge has increased reliability and durability of the mechanism, simplifies the installation of door and panel elements.
