Description

[0001] The utility model relates to the field of lighting technology, in particular to devices for mounting spotlights built into suspended ceilings and can be used to equip domestic and industrial premises.

[0002] The closest to the claimed technical solution is the “Magnetic plug” RU 2853439 [1], which includes a support panel (embedded part), fixed to support posts (brackets), equipped with a main opening for mounting a suspended ceiling, as well as a round front plate with a small opening for the power cable and hanging the lamp, covering the main opening.

[0003] The disadvantage of the known solution is the low strength and reliability of the fastening, due to the instability of the magnetic connection.

[0004] Technical result: increased strength and reliability of the lamp fastening.

[0005] The technical result is achieved in that a hidden ceiling mount for a suspended ceiling light fitting, including a support panel fixed to support posts, provided with a main opening for mounting a suspended ceiling, as well as a round face plate with a small opening for a power cable and suspension of the light fitting, covering the main opening, is characterized in that the face plate is connected to a sleeve with an external thread, and the inner surface of the main opening of the support panel is equipped with a corresponding internal thread.

[0006] Implementation:

[0007] Fig. 1 shows the device before the lamp is mounted, Fig. 2 shows the lamp during installation, Fig. 3 shows the mounted lamp, Fig. 4 shows a variant of mounting a suspended ceiling with harpoons, where:

[0008] 1 - support panel;

[0009] 2 - support posts;

[0010] 3 - face plate;

[0011] 4 - bushing;

[0012] 5 - mounting plate;

[0013] 6 - transition elements;

[0014] 7 - place where the stretch ceiling is glued to the support panel;

[0015] 8 - self-tapping screws;

[0016] 9 - stretch ceiling fabric;

[0017] 10 - stretch ceiling harpoons;

[0018] 11 - lamp;

[0019] 12 - lamp rod;

[0020] 13 - supply section of the lamp electrical cable;

[0021] 14 - capital ceiling;

[0022] 15 - lamp cable fastening.

[0023] The device operates as follows:

[0024] A support panel 1 is attached to support posts 2 secured to a main ceiling 14, for example, using self-tapping screws 8. The face plate 2 is connected to a sleeve 4. The mounting plate 5 is connected to the support panel by transition elements 6. In one embodiment, the stretch ceiling sheet 9 is glued to the location 7 of the support panel. Instead of gluing, a system using harpoons 10 can be used, as shown in Fig. 4. The luminaire 11 is secured to a rod 12 (or directly to the cable). The feeder section of the cable is shown as 13, the cable fastening is shown as 15.

[0025] The influence of the formula features on achieving the stated technical result: “increasing the strength and reliability of the luminaire fastening.”

[0026] Signs:

[0027] P.1 "a support panel secured to support posts, equipped with a main opening for mounting a suspended ceiling, and a round faceplate with a small opening for the power cable and luminaire suspension, covering the main opening" represent a common design basis borrowed from the prior art (patent RU 2853439 - "Magnetic Plug"). Although these features are not distinctive in relation to the prior art, they play an important supporting role in the implementation of the claimed technical result.

[0028] "Support Panel": serves as a supporting structure, transferring the load from the luminaire to the main ceiling. It provides the basic stability of the entire system. Without it, neither the faceplate nor the luminaire can be secured.

[0029] "Fixing the support panel to the support posts": Allows you to securely fasten the support panel to the main ceiling before installing the stretch ceiling.

[0030] "Main opening in the support panel for suspended ceiling installation": creates an opening in the ceiling for the light fixture and serves as the mounting location for the face plate. This feature specifies the connection geometry.

[0031] Round faceplate with small hole for power cable and luminaire suspension: covers the main hole while providing passage for power supply and mechanical fastening of the luminaire.

[0032] In the prototype, it's the weak link (the magnetic mount). In the new solution, it's the threaded connection carrier, but only in combination with distinguishing features (an externally threaded sleeve and an internal thread in the support panel hole).

[0033] These features: ensure geometric and functional compatibility; allow the load from the luminaire to be transferred through a reinforced fastening to the supporting base; - form a closed system in which the threaded connection can operate effectively.

[0034] Features: “The face plate is connected to the sleeve with an external thread, and the inner surface of the main hole of the support plate is equipped with a corresponding internal thread

[0035] This feature is the main difference from the prototype (magnetic plug). Instead of an unreliable magnetic connection, a mechanical threaded connection is used, which:

[0036] - Provides stable fixation of the face plate relative to the support panel;

[0037] - Prevents spontaneous disconnection under the influence of vibrations, temperature fluctuations or mechanical loads;

[0038] - Increases the durability and safety of the structure.

[0039] Thus, each feature of the independent clause of the Formula directly ensures the achievement of the technical result - increasing the strength and reliability of the fastening.

[0040] Signs of dependent clauses of the Formula:

[0041] P.2 “The support panel comprises a mounting plate with a small hole above the main hole, connected by transition elements to the support panel.

[0042] Impact on the technical result: Mounting plate with a small hole: Serves for precise fixation of the power cable and / or suspension rod of the luminaire; - Transition elements provide a strong and stable connection between the mounting plate and the support panel, distributing the load; This increases the overall rigidity of the structure and prevents deformation during installation and operation.

[0043] Therefore, this feature further enhances the reliability of the lamp mounting.

[0044] P.3 “The support posts of the support panel are fastened using self-tapping screws”:

[0045] Use of self-tapping screws: Ensures quick, reliable, and durable installation of the support panel to the studs and, consequently, to the main ceiling; Prevents the connection from loosening over time (unlike, for example, snaps or adhesive joints); Increases the load-bearing capacity of the entire system.

[0046] This further enhances the stability of the entire structure, including the lamp, and thus further enhances the overall technical result.

[0047] P.4. “The support panel is designed with the possibility of connecting to a suspended ceiling by gluing.”

[0048] Adhesive: Ensures a tight and durable connection between the stretch ceiling fabric and the supporting panel; Prevents sagging or shifting of the fabric around the light fitting opening; Reduces the risk of mechanical damage to the edges of the opening.

[0049] P.5. "The support panel has grooves to accommodate suspended ceiling harpoons":

[0050] Harpoon fastening: An alternative, yet equally reliable, method of securing the canvas; Ensures uniform tension distribution around the opening; Simplifies installation and dismantling when maintenance is required.

[0051] As with gluing, this feature stabilizes the position of the support panel, which further improves the overall reliability of the structure and further enhances the technical result.

[0052] Industrial applicability.

[0053] The proposed technical solution - a hidden ceiling mount for a suspended ceiling light - has a high degree of industrial applicability, since:

[0054] 1. Meets the requirements of mass construction and decoration:

[0055] This device is designed for installing recessed spotlights in suspended ceilings, a standard practice in the renovation and construction of residential, office, commercial, and industrial spaces. It can be used in both new construction and renovation projects.

[0056] 2. Made from commercially available materials:

[0057] The structure is made of polymer or metal components (support panel, face plate, bushing, posts), which are manufactured industrially (casting, stamping, machining). The self-tapping screws, adhesives, and harpoon systems used are also standard products available on the market.

[0058] 3. Easy to assemble and install:

[0059] All structural elements can be assembled at the factory or on-site without the use of specialized equipment. Installation is carried out using commonly used tools (screwdrivers, metal shears, etc.), which meets the requirements of typical installation companies.

[0060] 4. Compatible with existing suspended ceiling systems:

[0061] The solution is adapted to standard stretch ceiling installation technologies—both harpoon-type and gluing. This allows the device to be integrated into existing production and installation processes without significant changes.

[0062] 5. Ensures a stable technical result:

[0063] Increased strength and reliability of fastening are achieved through a threaded connection, which eliminates the risk of the luminaire falling off - an important factor for certification, fire and electrical safety, as well as for compliance with building codes.

[0064] Thus, the claimed device can be mass-produced and widely used in the construction and lighting industries, which confirms its industrial applicability in accordance with the requirements of patent law.
