Abstract
Description
[0001] The utility model relates to the field of computing devices, namely to input-output devices - keyboards of electronic computers and other electronic devices.
[0002] The "KEYBOARD" (patent RU2314560C1, published January 10, 2008) is known from the prior art. The invention relates to manual data entry devices and can be used to build unified control panels for various data processing systems. The technical result is a simple keyboard assembly. This result is achieved by the keyboard being a panel on which a set of structurally independent units required for a specific application is located. Each unit contains a matrix of buttons with a specific functional purpose and a corresponding controller. All matrix controllers are interconnected by a common serial synchronous interface, and all but one are slave controllers and generate information about the button states. One controller in the set combines the functions of both slave and master controllers, generates scan codes for its matrix, and, based on information about the scan codes of all matrices in the set, generates codes for transmission to the computer.
[0003] The disadvantages of this solution are that the device does not support analog input devices, making it impossible to smoothly and continuously adjust parameters. The lack of USB support for data exchange with a computer makes the device less flexible and limits compatibility with most modern computers.
[0004] The prior art patent "Keyboard, Key, Method for Displaying and Changing Symbols on the Keys of an Electronic Device Keyboard" (patent RU2214619C2, published October 20, 2003) is known. The patent describes a mini-display located in the key head, connected to the controller and data processing device of the electronic device, with the screen extending onto the front surface of the key head. The mini-display is capable of displaying a symbol with its corresponding function, changing the key symbol and its corresponding function. The key display is capable of adjusting the visual characteristics of the screen and the key symbol, as well as selecting the color of the display screen and the key symbol displayed on its screen. To prevent external damage, the keyboard key display screen is covered with a durable transparent material.The technical result is achieved due to the fact that the keyboard contains a controller, a data processing device and keys, in the key heads of which a mini-display is located, the screen of which extends onto the front surface of the key head.
[0005] The disadvantages of this solution include its technological complexity and high implementation cost, due to the device's design features. Furthermore, the device is built exclusively on discrete push-button controls and does not support the use of analog or pulse input devices such as encoders and potentiometers. Consequently, smooth and continuous adjustment of parameters, including level, speed, and other values, is impossible, reducing the ease of use and functionality of control.
[0006] The technical result of the utility model consists in expanding the input means by providing simultaneous processing and transmission of discrete, analog and pulse signals from control elements to a single digital interface, while the functional purpose of the device is adapted to various application tasks by changing the computer software without modifying the hardware of the remote control.
[0007] The said technical result is achieved due to the fact that the universal keyboard-type control panel consists of a housing and a microcontroller, characterized in that it contains a button module, which includes a logical converter, a contact bounce filter module and eleven buttons; a potentiometer module, which includes a filter module and four potentiometers; an encoder module, which includes a contact bounce filter module and one encoder; wherein the microcontroller is configured to process data from all modules connected to it, generates final control messages and transmits them via the UART interface and a USB-UART interface converter for sending data to a computer.
[0008] Fig. 1 shows a block diagram of the device, where
[0009] 1 - Microcontroller;
[0010] 2 - USB-UART interface converter;
[0011] 3 - Encoder Module:
[0012] 3.1 - Contact bounce filter module;
[0013] 3.2 - Encoder.
[0014] 4 - Button module:
[0015] 4.1 - Logic converter;
[0016] 4.2 - Contact bounce filter module;
[0017] 4.3 - Buttons.
[0018] 5 - Potentiometer Module:
[0019] 5.1 - Filtration module;
[0020] 5.2 - Potentiometers.
[0021] Implementation of a utility model.
[0022] The central element of the device is the microcontroller 1, which polls all device modules 3-5 through I / O contacts, processes and transmits data from them to the computer.
[0023] The device communicates with the computer via a USB-UART 2 interface converter. Data exchange between the converter and microcontroller 1 occurs via the UART interface, allowing microcontroller 1 to transmit generated data about the state of the controls to the computer and, if necessary, receive control commands.
[0024] Button module 4 contains 11 buttons arranged in a 4 x 3 matrix in the housing. The signals from the buttons first pass through a contact debounce module, which eliminates false triggering caused by mechanical closure, and are then converted through a logic converter into signals for microcontroller 1. As a result, microcontroller 1 receives data about the pressing and release of each button.
[0025] Encoder Module 3 includes one encoder and a contact debounce filter module. As the encoder rotates, pulses are generated. After filtering, these pulses are fed to the inputs of microcontroller 1, allowing it to determine the direction and speed of rotation and convert this data into digital commands.
[0026] Potentiometer Module 5 includes four potentiometers, whose signals pass through a filter module designed to smooth out noise and instability in the analog signal. After filtering, the voltage values are read by the microcontroller through the corresponding inputs and converted into digital codes.
[0027] The microcontroller processes data from all connected modules, generates final control messages and transmits them via the UART interface and USB-UART converter to the computer.
