Abstract
Description
[0001] This utility model relates to electric vehicles, namely mopeds, electric scooters, electric scooters, and similar vehicles. The scooter includes a deck, a supporting frame, an axial electric motor, an electric motor controller, a belt drive to the rear axle, a battery, a steering column, a front suspension fork, rear shock absorbers, disc brakes, and wheels. It can be used for urban transportation, sports competitions, and as an environmentally friendly means of transportation.
[0002] A "Electric scooter with a folding seat" is known (patent No. RU 218155 U1, IPC B62K15 / 00, 02 / 22 / 2023, published 05 / 12 / 2023), which includes a deck, a steering column with a handlebar, a seat with a seat cushion, a supporting platform for placing a seat folding / unfolding unit.
[0003] The disadvantages of this technical solution include the complexity of the design and its limited strength. The folding seat mechanism can become loose over time, especially with heavy use. Furthermore, adding a seat with a folding mechanism increases the weight of the vehicle, reducing its portability. The high center of gravity due to the seat negatively impacts vehicle handling.
[0004] The closest in technical essence to a utility model is the “Moped” (patent No. RU 184670 U1, IPC B62K11 / 00, 10.07.2018, published 02.11.2018), comprising an outer double frame, on which a steering fork with a handlebar and a front wheel with a hub is pivotally fixed in front, and a rear wheel with a hub is fixed at the rear, both wheels are designed to rotate, a seat is also fixed on the outer double frame, and an inner double frame is built into the outer double frame, and the outer double frame and the inner double frame are connected to each other both directly and additionally by means of two rigid fastening elements with cutouts, in which a motor-wheel is installed between the rigid fastening elements, a gear is rigidly fixed on the motor-wheel, connected by a chain transmission to a gear fixed on the hub of the rear wheel, wherein the motor-wheel is connected through a controller to the battery, and one wheel contains a brake mechanism, and an accelerator handle is also connected to the controller.
[0005] The disadvantages of the known technical solution include the high placement of the battery and hub motor, which results in a high center of gravity and negatively impacts vehicle handling. The hub motor has low efficiency, which increases heat dissipation, reduces energy efficiency, and, consequently, range. The lack of suspension negatively impacts vehicle handling and ride quality. Furthermore, transmitting torque to the rear axle via a chain drive requires constant lubrication.
[0006] The solution to the technical problem is to create a scooter design with an axial electric motor, belt drive and suspension, which provides increased stability and controllability of the vehicle.
[0007] The technical result is achieved by creating a spatial frame 8 for mounting an axial electric motor 13 with a drive via a belt transmission 19 on the rear axle, on which a wheel 7 and a brake disc 6 are mounted. The battery 10 and the electric motor controller 11 are located inside the frame under the driver. The steering column 2 is designed as a fork with two telescopic shock absorbers 4, providing vertical movement of the front wheel. The rear suspension, providing vertical movement of the rear wheel, is represented by two shock absorbers 17, fixed between the frame 8 and the rear suspension arm 18. The brake system control levers (these elements are not shown in the figures), as well as the accelerator lever (this element is not shown in the figures) are located on the motorcycle handlebars on different sides from the driver.
[0008] The technical result consists in creating a scooter design with an axial electric motor with increased stability and controllability of the vehicle.
[0009] The proposed technical solution allows for the creation of an electric scooter with an axial motor drive, belt transmission, and front and rear suspension, which improves vehicle stability and control. The axial motor has a high efficiency of up to 91%, ensuring a long range and low heat generation.
[0010] Placing the battery and electric motor controller inside the frame, under the rider's feet, provides better load distribution across the scooter's axles and a lower center of gravity, significantly improving stability and control. The use of a belt drive between the axial electric motor shaft and the rear wheel axle ensures smooth torque transfer, reduces vibration and noise, and improves transmission reliability.

[0038] The scooter with an axial electric motor operates as follows. The frame is assembled by welding all frame elements. The steering column axis is welded to the gooseneck, which in turn is welded to the body. The battery and electric motor controller are installed inside the body. The top of the body is covered with a deck, which is installed with screws. A protective frame is bolted to the bottom of the body. The axial electric motor, mounted on a bracket, is bolted to the rear wall of the body. The footrest, screwed to the footrest frame with bolts, is welded to the rear wall of the body. Also, two rear suspension brackets with pressed-in bearings (not shown in the figures) are welded to the rear of the body on the right and left sides. The rear suspension arm is pivotally secured to the rear suspension brackets. The rear suspension arm is welded from two rectangular tubes bent in two places, with a rectangular cross-section reinforcement welded between the tubes. Two rear suspension shock absorbers are pivotally mounted between the footrest frame and the rear suspension arm, providing vertical travel. The rear fender is bolted to the rear suspension arm, and the rear axle is mounted via bearings (not shown in the figures), onto which the driven gear (not shown in the figures), brake disc, and wheel are mounted. A belt drive is tensioned between the electric motor pinion (not shown in the figures) and the rear axle driven gear (not shown in the figures). The steering column, pivotally mounted to the steering column axis, is assembled from three crossmembers, into which two shock absorbers and two tubes are rigidly mounted, onto which the motorcycle handlebars are rigidly mounted. The front fender is bolted to the steering column. The front axle is mounted to the lower points of the front shock absorbers via bearings (not shown in the figures), onto which the brake disc and wheel are installed.
[0039] After assembly, the scooter with an axial electric motor is operated as follows. The rider stands on the deck. Direction is controlled by turning the steering wheel. Acceleration is controlled by the accelerator trigger, which transmits a signal to the axial electric motor controller. Deceleration is achieved by applying the brake lever, which, depending on the operating mode, can use either the electric motor, the disc brakes, or both simultaneously.
