Occlusal seating device for orthodontic aligners

Abstract

An occlusal aligner for orthodontic aligners is described, the body of which consists of two semi-autonomous arches, namely the upper arch (1) and the lower arch (2), which have interdental spines (3). The arches are connected to each other in the posterior distal part through pillars (4) and in the front by a flexible fusion. On the body of the aligner or at the ends of the interdental spines (3), there are buffer pressure points (6) for applying a pressure stick or an extraoral source of vibration. Between the upper arch (1) and the lower arch (2), there are interarch vestibular connections (7), the course of which is vestibularly convex. The body of the occlusal aligner has a shape complementary to the occlusal part of the upper and lower teeth of the patient with an invisible orthodontic aligner fitted.
