Abstract
An antibody specific for the LRP8 receptor, which is located on the cell membrane of brain endothelial cells, has been identified. This antibody is able to cross the blood-brain barrier. Based on this, the medical use of this anti-LRP8 specific antibody as a drug delivery vector to the brain is proposed.
