Abstract

It is described a cutter, comprising a shearing punch which serves to clamp and adjust a pair of identical samples, to adjust the location and flat of the shearing, and a shearing die, which serves to adjust the shearing gap and to fix the mutual position of the shearing punch and the shearing die. The shearing punch consists of the first part (1) of the shearing punch and the second part (7) of the shearing punch, between which a pair of test samples (4) of the material are fixed at the desired shearing location and connected by first screws (8). The shearing punch thus formed is inserted into the shearing die (6). The measurement is carried out by placing and fixing a pair of identical test samples (4) in the cutter in such a way that the shearing planes run through a predetermined location. Mechanical stress thus occurs only in a predetermined area of ​​the tested sample (4) of the material, while the bending moment caused by shearing is eliminated.
