Abstract

Relay diagnostic equipment can reduce the risk of false diagnosis. While preventing battery power from being unnecessarily discharged, the welding diagnostic device... The relay includes a positive electrode relay, a negative electrode relay, and a capacitor and load circuit. A parallel connection is established between the positive electrode side of the relay and the negative electrode side of the relay for discharge purposes. Forced by connecting the capacitor and load circuit and the specified section in the case of a relay side. If the negative electrode is not connected, it will determine whether the positive electrode side of the relay is connected after discharge. The active charge is operated and in the case where the negative electrode side of the relay is connected, it determines that the relay side... Is the positive electrode connected or not after the passive discharge of the capacitor, which is a discharge? Natural charges are acted upon.

Claims

1. A relay connection diagnostic device in a power source system includes a positive electrode relay with one terminal connected to the positive electrode of the battery, a negative electrode relay with one terminal connected to the negative electrode of the battery and capacitor, and a load circuit connected in parallel between one terminal of the positive electrode relay and the other terminal of the negative electrode relay. The relay connection diagnostic device incorporates a control section that performs control for the active discharge operation of the capacitor, which is a forced discharge by connecting the capacitor and the load circuit, and a determination section that, in the case that the negative electrode relay is not connected, determines whether the positive electrode relay is connected after the active discharge is performed, and in the case that the negative electrode relay is connected, determines whether the positive electrode relay is connected after the passive discharge of the capacitor, which is a natural discharge, is performed. 2.The relay connection diagnostic device pursuant to claim 1, whereby the provision determines whether the positive electrode side of the relay is connected or not after determining whether the negative electrode side of the relay is connected or not;
