Abstract
Claims
OCR07AP1. Charging control system (200) for charging one or more vehicle energy storage units (101), the charging control system (200) which includes a control unit (202), the control unit (202) is configured to transmit the first identification parameter (P1) from the power source (203) to the vehicle (100), detects the second identification parameter (P2) from the vehicle (100) in response to the first identification parameter (P1) and controls the charging of one or more vehicle energy storage units (101) at a predetermined rate (R1,R2) based on the detection of the second identification parameter (P2).2.The charging control system (200) as requested in claim 1, where the control unit (202) is configured to determine the type of vehicle (100) based on a second predefined parameter (P2) accepted by the control unit (202), a predefined rate (R1, R2) of which is either the first predefined rate (R1) or the second predefined rate (R2), facilitates the charging of one or more energy storage units (101) at the first predefined rate (R1) based on the second identifying parameter (P2) that matches Predetermined value (V1) and facilitates the charging of one or more energy storage units (101) at a second predetermined rate (R2) based on a second identification parameter (P2) that differs from the predetermined value (V1).
3. A charging control system (200) as requested in claim 2, in which the control unit (202) is configured to facilitate the charging of one or more energy storage units (101) at a second predetermined rate (R2) upon failure to receive the second identification parameter (P2). 4.The charging control system (200) as requested in claim 1, where the first identification parameter (P1), which is the controller area network identifier (CANID), is referenced as 07B3CANID5. The charging control system (200) as requested in claim 2, where the second identification parameter (P2), which is the CANID, is referenced as 071ACANID for the convenience of charging one or more power storage units (101) at the first predefined rate (R1)6. The charging control system (200) as requested in claim 5, where 071ACANID comprises eight bytes and the fifth of the eight bytes corresponds to a predefined value (V1)7. The charging control system (200) as requested in claim 2, where the first predefined rate (R1) is greater than the second predefined rate (R2)8.The charging control system (200) as requested in claim 2, in which the control unit (202) is configured to initiate a rectifier circuit (203R) to deliver the first identification parameter (P1) when connecting the charger to one or more energy storage units (101) and deduct the charge based on the energy consumed during the charging of one or more energy storage units (101) at the first predetermined rate (R1) or the second predetermined rate (R2).
9. Method (300) for controlling the charging of energy storage units. One or more power storage units (101) of the vehicle (100), method (300) which consists of the transmission (301), by the control unit (202), the first identifying parameter (P1) from the power source (203) to the vehicle (100), detection (302), by the control unit (202), the second identifying parameter (P2) from the vehicle (100) responding to the first identifying parameter transmitted (P1), and control (303), by the control unit (202), charging one or more power storage units (101) at a predetermined rate (R1,R2) based on the second identifying parameter (P2).10.Method (300) as requested in claim 9, in which Method (300) is incorporated with charging one or more energy storage units (101) at the first predetermined rate (R1) based on a second identification parameter (P2) that matches the predetermined value (V1).
11. Method (300) as requested in claim 9, in which Method (300) is incorporated with charging one or more energy storage units (101) at the second predetermined rate (R2) of the predetermined rates (R1,R2) based on a second identification parameter (P2) that differs from the predetermined value (V1).
12. Method (300) as requested in claim 9, in which Method (300) is incorporated with charging one or more energy storage units (101) at the second predetermined rate (R2) if the second identification parameter (P2) fails to be detected.13.Vehicle(100), vehicle(100) incorporating one or more energy storage units(101) and a charge control system(200), a charge control system(200) configured to charge one or more energy storage units(101), a charge control system(200) incorporating a control unit(202), a control unit(202) configured to receive the first identification parameter(P1) from a power source(203), generate a second identification parameter(P2) that responds to the first identification parameter(P1), and control the charging of one or more energy storage units(101) at a predetermined rate(R1,R2) based on the generated second identification parameter(P2);
