Abstract

The cart for transporting lead jars, as described in this invention, is used for cylindrical lead jars of various sizes. For transporting between laboratories, as an alternative to using conventional trolleys which are unsafe due to the radiopharmaceuticals contained in the containers. Lead is present, and there is a high risk of radioactive contamination in areas where the trolley moves. The use of trolleys with securing devices is recommended. The lead container is securely attached to the vehicle, allowing for quick and effortless movement of the transport vehicle and reducing the chance of breakage. This problem is avoided, but it also has positive effects on the health of workers because they receive a reduced amount of radiation.
