OCR 09WP 26 / 05 / 2569 1. A process for producing calcium oxide from eggshell waste from hatcheries using a rotary kiln. The indirect electrical heater (rotary kiln) heating process has two stages: Step one: Preparing eggshells from hatchery waste. A. Separate the chicken carcasses from the eggshell waste. Then, wash the remaining waste with water to clean it. Clean and sun-dry the eggshells, then chop them into 6.3 mm pieces using a chopper. This will result in eggshells with the membrane still attached. Eggshells are mixed in. B. Separation of eggshell membrane is done by soaking eggshells containing the membrane in a citric acid solution. A concentration of 0.1 molar was applied, stirred for 30 minutes, and air was blown into the solution using an air pump. (Eggshell membrane) The eggshells will float on the surface of the acid solution. Separate the eggshells and wash away the excess acid. Adding plain water before drying will result in eggshells with the membrane separated. The second step involves producing calcium oxide from separated eggshells or eggshells containing eggshell membranes. A. The production of calcium oxide from membrane-separated eggshells is done by feeding the eggshells into the inlet. For furnaces with a feed rate of 5-20% of the furnace volume, the rotation speed is 0.5-1.0 revolutions per minute. The furnace is tilted at an angle of 3-5 degrees, with heating provided in a rotary kiln heated by coils. External electricity (indirect electrical heater - rotary kiln) at a temperature of 800-900 degrees Celsius. For a period of 1-2 hours, after the heating period is complete, the eggshell will decompose. Calcium oxide will move out through the furnace outlet. B. Production of calcium oxide from eggshells containing eggshell membrane, fed through the inlet of the furnace at a rate of... Feeding volume is 5-20% of the furnace volume. Rotation speed is 0.5-1.0 revolutions per minute. Tilt angle... The kiln operates at 3-5 degrees Celsius, heated in a rotary kiln using electric heating coils. The external (indirect electrical heater - rotary kiln) at a temperature of 800-900 degrees Celsius is... The heating period is 1-2 hours. Once the heating time is complete, the eggshell membrane will be heated. It completely disintegrates, while the eggshell breaks down into calcium oxide and moves outwards. Furnace outlet
