1. Methods for extracting substances from millet seeds. Coixlacryma-jobiL.) The process is as follows: a. Preparation of millet seed powder: Millet seed powder can be prepared from raw or cooked millet seeds. 500 grams of raw millet seeds are cooked in 1.5 liters of water. The cooked millet seeds are then baked in a convection oven at 50 ± 3 degrees Celsius for 24 hours. The resulting powder is then ground using a grinder and stored in a sealed container until ready for extraction. b. 2 kilograms of millet seed powder obtained from step a are soaked in 5 liters of 95% ethanol. Step 1: Use a stainless steel tank and high-frequency sound waves to extract for 1 hour. Filter the clear solution from the millet powder using cheesecloth. Dry the filtered solution using a reducing evaporator at 45 degrees Celsius. Step 2: The remaining millet powder residue from step 3 is extracted again with 95% ethanol. Repeat step 3 for a total of 3 extractions. After evaporating the alcohol, a crude extract from the millet powder is obtained as a yellow liquid. Finally, use the crude extract from step 4...25 grams of the substance were dispersed in 500 ml of water. The substance was dissolved using ultrasonic waves for 30 minutes. 1000 ml of dichloromethane was added and dissolved again using ultrasonic waves for 30 minutes. The aqueous solution was separated from the dichloromethane solution, and fresh dichloromethane was added for extraction each time. The three dichloromethane solutions were combined and evaporated to obtain the dichloromethane extract. The remaining aqueous solution after three extractions with dichloromethane (as described in step e) was extracted by adding 1000 ml of ethyl acetate. The process was repeated as in step e, but using fresh ethyl acetate. The ethyl acetate solutions from all three extractions were then evaporated to obtain the ethyl acetate extract.
