Abstract
The invention consists of a sea cleaning system using the physical principles of Pascal's law and Archimedes' principle to recover floating pollutants (hydrocarbons, oils, waste) from the water's surface. The system comprises: 1.) Two tanks connected by a pipe: a main (larger) tank and a secondary (smaller) tank. 2.) A pumping system raises the water into the main tank, where it mixes with pollutants and waste. 3. Buoyancy: The pollutants, being less dense than water, remain on the surface of the main tank. 4.) Thanks to Pascal's law, excess water overflows from the main tank and is directed to the secondary tank. 5) Pollutant Separation: Pollutants are captured at the surface of the main tank, while excess water is discharged to the secondary tank. This system enables passive, simple, and environmentally friendly cleaning of marine waters, using minimal (potentially renewable) energy and without the use of chemicals. It can be deployed on ships or autonomous robots and is suitable for ports, coastal areas, and even the open sea.
