Abstract
The present invention relates to a method for cooling systems, consisting of replacing a single-phase or three-phase compressor, ordinarily used by the current state of technology, with two single-phase or direct current compressors, each having half the cooling power of said compressor ordinarily used by the current state of technology. The invention also relates to a product consisting of a renewable energy-based power supply system incorporating a closed-loop refrigeration circuit with a dual compressor. In the cooling system of this invention, two compressors are used, each having half the cooling capacity of a conventionally used compressor. They are connected to the rest of the refrigeration system in such a way as to ensure, when operating simultaneously, a cooling capacity equivalent to that of a standard compressor. In this configuration, the two compressors are connected in parallel, allowing them to maintain a voltage equivalent to that of one of them. This architecture reduces the open-circuit voltage (Voc) required for the power supply. This approach promotes the use of a smaller number of renewable energy sources (such as photovoltaic panels), making it possible to install them in sufficient quantities to provide the necessary Voc (voltage of charge) on limited surfaces, particularly the roofs of refrigerated vehicles. By reducing the number of energy modules required, this solution lowers investment costs and improves the return on investment (ROI). It is applicable not only to refrigerated vehicles, but also to stationary cooling systems, such as, but not limited to, cold rooms, thus offering a more economical and efficient alternative for the integration of renewable energies into refrigeration systems. The solution thus invented makes it possible to overcome the limitations mentioned in the state of background above, and to improve the technical and economic feasibility of integrating renewable energies into air conditioning and refrigeration systems.
