Abstract

The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing bricks from construction and building demolition waste materials exhibiting high strength using a shaping process without firing. According to the present invention, the cementation of construction material waste can be accelerated and strengthened by strengthening a bond between the surface of the binder and the construction material waste; the strength can be further improved by mixing and using construction waste material powder; water, clay, cement and lime with possible addition of animal hair, straw or esparto grass. The ratio of each component is 7 to 10 parts water, 10 to 25% Portland cement, 25 to 40% clay, 0 to 10% red brick waste, 0 to 25% dam sediment, 45 to 52% construction material waste, and 0 to 5% animal hair, straw, or esparto grass. The resulting mixture is then pressure-molded at 17 MPa to create a brick-shaped body, and the bricks are then finished by curing. The resulting bricks are hardened at room temperature (20-35°C) for 24 to 84 hours, then immersed in water for 30 seconds. This process is repeated 24, 36, 48, 60, 72, and 84 hours after brick production to improve the brick's consistency.
