A SERIES PARALLEL HYBRID ENGINE SYSTEM

Abstract

This invention relates to a hybrid engine system (1) characterized by at least one internal combustion engine (2), at least one gearbox (4) to reduce the speed produced by the internal combustion engine (2) and increase the torque, at least one electric motor (3) integrated into the gearbox to shorten the axial length, at least one propeller (5) connected to the electric motor (3) and to produce thrust / pulling power from the rotational energy transmitted by the electric motor (3), and at least one engine control unit (6) connected to the internal combustion engine (2) and to regulate the operation of the engine (2), so that an aircraft can gain altitude in a shorter time, take off on a shorter runway and have less fuel consumption.
