Abstract
Copper (Cu) and copper alloys are widely used in industrial applications. When ceramic particles are added to copper, the electrical conductivity of the composite decreases significantly because the ceramic particles have low electrical conductivity. This invention is the production of an AlNC-reinforced copper matrix composite material. It contains 95-99% copper matrix and 1-5% AlNC reinforcement element by volume. This composite material has high hardness and optimum electrical conductivity.
