Abstract
This invention relates to a method of producing legume-based animal mineral supplements by reducing the phytic acid content of plant minerals obtained from legume sources such as red lentils, chickpeas and peas, making them highly bioavailable, micronizing and stabilizing them, and using them in powder, premix, liquid drop, chewable treat and energy-enhanced feed formats to suit the metabolic needs of different animal species. Its characteristic feature is the selection of red lentils, chickpeas and peas as raw materials and their purification from foreign matter (1), washing the selected legumes to remove surface contaminants and drying them under controlled conditions (2), subjecting the legumes to soaking, fermentation or enzymatic processing to reduce their phytic acid and antinutrient content (3), and extraction of the phytic acid-reduced legumes at low temperatures without disrupting the mineral structure (4).Separation of the mineral-rich phase obtained as a result of extraction from the pulp and fiber components (5), purification of the mineral extract by filtration or centrifugation and concentration if necessary (6), conversion of the purified mineral extract into powder form by spray drying or freeze-drying method (7), reduction of the particle size of the powdered mineral extract by micronizing (8), stabilization of the micronized mineral extract against moisture, oxidation and environmental effects (9), optimization of the stabilized mineral extract by adjusting the mineral ratios according to the target animal species (10), preparation of the optimized mineral extracts in single or mixed formulations (11), conversion of the prepared mineral extract into powder, premix, liquid drop, chewable treat or energy-enhanced feed format (12), quality control testing of the final product in terms of mineral content, homogeneity and bioavailability (13),The process steps include placing the product, which has completed quality control, into suitable packaging, storing it and making it ready for distribution (14).
