Abstract

An acoustic adapter assembly (10) is a configuration for use with mobile devices (70), comprising an acoustic capture chamber (20), a connection connector (30) to a microphone associated with the aforementioned acoustic capture chamber (20), and an acoustic channel (40) extending between the aforementioned acoustic capture chamber (20) and a mobile device microphone (71). Its feature is that the aforementioned acoustic channel (40) is configured in relation to a sound condenser internal geometry, which includes curved surface transitions and cross-sectional changes that allow body-derived biological vibrations to be directed along a controlled acoustic path instead of freely propagating in the open environment, and transmitted passively amplified to the mobile device microphone (71).
