Aluminum Bioclimatic System Corner Connector and Water Drainage Apparatus

Abstract

This invention relates to a seamless, interlocking connection device developed for corner node points where vertical posts (7) and horizontal gutters (6) providing water flow meet in bioclimatic pergola and roof systems. The invention includes a corner piece (1) produced in a single form that provides ease of assembly by eliminating the use of welding or chemical silicone, and a rubber seal (2) that is placed in the area where the gutters (6) cut at a 90-degree right angle meet the corner piece, creating mechanical sealing with the pressure force of the screws (8). Water that flows through the lamellae into the gutters (6) passes directly into the corner piece (1) without any leakage and is safely discharged into the vertical post (7) through the water drain hole integrated into the base of the corner piece.
