Embrasure brushes with core stability for an oral hygiene device

Abstract

An oral hygiene system including a flosser headpiece with a base portion with arms extending to support an embrasure cleaning feature and flossing filament. The floss filament spans between the arms of the headpiece, and the embrasure cleaning features are located at the ends of the floss filament that meet the headpiece arms. The embrasure cleaning features are tapered and have embrasure-shaped cross-sections. As such, the embrasure cleaning features may slide into and out of embrasures during flossing via the floss filament. The embrasure cleaning features may include flexible ribbings surrounding the cross-sections of the embrasure cleaning features. The embrasure cleaning features may be supported by core structures that provide stability during manufacturing and use.
