The main body (111) has an insertion part (120) for inserting the stapled object, and a drive unit (4) for performing the stapleping action of the stapled object inserted into the insertion part (120). The detection unit (111) operates the drive unit (4) by detecting the stapled object, and is detachable from the main body (111).
