Method and device for detecting tire blowouts on the horizontal wheels of monorail trolleys

Abstract

The purpose of this invention is to provide a method and device for detecting tire blowouts of the horizontal wheels of a monorail vehicle that can both reduce maintenance costs and provide simple and accurate detection. The method for detecting tire blowouts of the horizontal wheels of a monorail vehicle equipped with two or more horizontal wheels that abut against the side of a track beam comprises: a first step of detecting the starting point of the monorail vehicle passing through a curved track beam; a second step of detecting the ending point of the monorail vehicle passing through the curved track beam; a third step of acquiring time-series data of the vibration acceleration of the vehicle frame detected during the period from the detection in the first step to the detection in the second step; and a fourth step of determining, based on the processing result of the third step, whether the horizontal wheel has experienced a tire blowout.
