Abstract
According to an embodiment, a child seat includes a seat shell having at least one headrest guide track and a headrest including at least one mounting arm receivable within the at least one headrest guide track. A lock pawl is arranged at the at least one mounting arm. The lock pawl is arranged to automatically prevent separation of the headrest from the at least one headrest guide track after the at least one mounting arm has been inserted into the at least one headrest guide track.
