Abstract

This invention provides a composition capable of forming a hardened material exhibiting a high refractive index, and consequently, high transparency. The invention provides a composition comprising: a compound (A) having a cyclothioethanediyl or cyclothiopropanediyl group; and a resin (B). The resin (B) comprises a resin (B1) containing structural units from an unsaturated compound having a carbazole ring.
