Abstract

The object of the present invention is to provide an optical laminate hat, even when having a protective layer on only one side of a linear polarizer, can suppress the disappearance of dichroic dyes from the linear polarizer under high-temperature and high-humidity environments, and improve visibility (by reducing interference fringes and bubble inclusion). The optical laminate of the present invention sequentially comprises a first protective layer, a linear polarizer, a first adhesive layer, and a retardation layer laminate. The first adhesive layer is a cured layer of a curable composition containing a radical polymerizable compound. The retardation layer laminate sequentially comprises, from the side of the first adhesive layer, a first liquid crystal retardation layer, a second adhesive layer having a thickness of 20 to 200 nm, and a second liquid crystal retardation layer.
