Mobile electronic device mounting

Abstract

Disclosed is an accessory for a mobile electronic device comprising a rear wall and a locking mechanism that may be disposed in the rear wall. The locking mechanism can include at least one locking element movable relative to the rear wall for locking the case to a mount. In some forms, the accessory is in the form of a case for a mobile electronic device. A rotary element may be provided in the locking mechanism to position the at least one locking element for causing the locking mechanism for adopting a locked or unlocked condition. Also provided is a mount configured to receive at least part of the case locking mechanism; a mounting system for a mobile electronic device comprising the case and the mount; and a method of mounting a mobile electronic device contained within a case to a mount.
