Abstract

The purpose of this invention is to simplify the assembly process. The vibration generating device of this invention comprises: a fixed body having a housing; a movable body housed within the housing; a permanent magnet disposed on one of the fixed body and the movable body; a coil disposed on the other of the fixed body and the movable body, which, when powered, causes the movable body to move in a first direction; and a roller disposed between the fixed body and the movable body with its upper and lower surfaces facing a third direction orthogonal to the first and second directions, respectively; and each of the movable body and the fixed body has a bottom surface for the roller to abut against, and a protrusion protruding from the bottom surface; the roller is disposed between the movable body and the fixed body with its upper and lower surfaces facing at least the side surfaces of the protrusions of the movable body and the fixed body, respectively.
