Abstract
The present invention provides a method and system for light-assisted robotic arm calibration, utilizing a virtual tool center calibration approach that does not rely on physical tool feature points. It effectively addresses the challenges of the conventional virtual tool center calibration techniques. Compared to the traditional rod-assisted calibration method, this invention combines high-energy focused light sources with vision sensors, making the entire calibration process faster, more stable, and efficient. This innovative calibration method is not only suitable for current production method but also provides effective support for future applications requiring high precision.
