Abstract

A child carrier includes a base and a seat assembly disposed on the base, the base including a base body and a fixing device, wherein the fixing device includes: a connecting assembly connected to the base body; an engaging mechanism including an engaging member and a first restoring member, the engaging member being pivotally connected to the connecting assembly, the engaging member being rotatable between an open position and a closed position, the engaging member being able to engage with a bar provided on a vehicle seat in the closed position, the first restoring member being disposed between the engaging member and the connecting assembly and being adapted to bias the engaging member to rotate toward the open position; and a locking mechanism disposed on the connecting assembly, the locking mechanism being switchable between a locking state and an unlocking state, the locking mechanism locking the engaging member in the closed position in the locking state and releasing the engaging member from the closed position in the unlocking state.
