Abstract

A bicycle component BC is basically provided with a wireless communicator 34 and a controller 32. The wireless communicator 34 is configured to wirelessly receive a pairing demand signal from a wireless communication device WD. The controller 32 is configured to control the wireless communicator 34 to establish wireless communication between the wireless communicator 34 and the wireless communication device WD in response to receiving the pairing demand signal. The controller 32 is configured to control the wireless communicator 34 to restrict the wireless communication in a state where the bicycle component BC is connected to a first remote component RC1.
