Two-part curable resin composition and cured product thereof

Abstract

Conventional two-component resin compositions contain cross-linked silyl groups in organic polymers and epoxy resins. These compositions react slowly and have long gel times, leading to resin dripping when applied to surfaces other than flat areas. Furthermore, extended tap times are necessary to prevent the adhered material from shifting during application. The present invention aims to provide a two-component resin composition with excellent gel time and compatibility at 25°C. The above-mentioned problems are solved by a two-component resin composition containing the following components (A) to (E): (A) Component: epoxy resin; (B) Component: chelate-based metal catalyst; (C) Component: cross-linked silyl group in organic polymers; (D) Component: thiol compound containing a polyether backbone; and (E) Component: amine compound; wherein, components (A) to (E) are not silane coupling agents.
