Abstract

This invention provides a urethane resin that contributes to exhibiting excellent hydrophobicity, a resin composition containing the above-mentioned urethane resin, a film formed from the above-mentioned resin composition, and an article having the above-mentioned film. The urethane resin used is characterized in that it uses a polydimethylsiloxane compound having hydroxyl or amino groups and an isocyanate compound as essential reaction raw materials, wherein the number average molecular weight of the polydimethylsiloxane compound is 5000 or less.
