Abstract
One embodiment of the manufacturing method of a forged component includes the following steps: cooling a workpiece held at a temperature T1 higher than the γ' solution temperature Ts and in which the γ' phase is dissolved from temperature T1 to a temperature T2 0°C to 100°C lower than the γ' solution temperature Ts, and holding it for a predetermined time to allow the γ' phase to precipitate; cooling the workpiece with the precipitated γ' phase from temperature T2 to a temperature T3 800°C or lower at a cooling rate of 100°C / h or less to coarsen the precipitated γ' phase; heating the coarsened workpiece to a temperature T4 0°C to 100°C lower than the γ' solution temperature Ts and forging it to introduce strain; and holding the strained workpiece at a temperature T5 higher than the γ' solution temperature Ts for a predetermined time to allow static recrystallization.
