Display system and method using the same

Abstract

A display panel and method of display are disclosed that does not use a polarizer. The display panel contains a two-dimensional (2D) and a three-dimensional (3D) switchable lenticular display. The display includes a liquid crystal layer configured to switch between different refractive indexes in response to an applied voltage. The liquid crystal layer is positioned between a substrate and a lenticular lens array. The lenticular lens array is designed to direct light in specific directions to create a multiview or 3D effect. The display operates without polarized light, utilizing non-polarized light to achieve the desired visual output.
