Abstract

This invention provides a protective film frame and a protective film. The protective film frame includes a filter 11 in a venting section 10 having a venting passage for ventilation between the inside and outside of the protective film. The filter 11 comprises a two-layer structure: a porous filter layer 12 and an adhesive layer 13. The adhesive layer 13 forms a plurality of non-adhesive regions 13b by distributing an adhesive component 13a on one side of the filter layer 12, thereby providing a ventilation mechanism. The protective film is characterized by including the protective film frame as a constituent component. According to the protective film frame and protective film of this invention, even when using a filter with an adhesive layer, reliable and sufficient ventilation between the inside and outside of the protective film in the venting section can be ensured.
