Abstract

The object of this invention is to provide a vibration generating device in which the housing is composed of a frame and a cover, and the cover is held within the frame without complicated assembly steps. The vibration generating device of this invention comprises: a housing having a frame, an upper cover, and a lower cover; and a movable body having a permanent magnet and vibratoryly held within the housing; the upper cover having an upper cover guide, the lower cover having a lower cover guide, the movable body having a movable body guide located between the upper and lower cover guides, the upper and lower covers having positioning portions that limit their position relative to the frame, and having ferromagnetic portions formed of ferromagnetic material in at least a portion of the flat portion.
