Abstract

In the crystal resonator (100), a protrusion 21 is formed on the first main surface (201) of the first sealing member (20). The protrusion (21) is positioned such that, when viewed from above, it overlaps with the upper surface sealing portion of the first main surface (101) of the crystal oscillator (10), the lower surface sealing portion of the second main surface (102) of the crystal oscillator (10), the first sealing member side sealing portion of the second main surface (202) of the first sealing member (20), and the second sealing member side sealing portion of the first main surface (301) of the second sealing member (30), but does not overlap with the first excitation electrode (111) and the second excitation electrode (112) of the vibration portion (11) of the crystal oscillator (10).
