Rice processing equipment and rice management method

Abstract

A rice processing apparatus includes: a storage section for storing rice; a dividing and forming section for dividing rice and forming rice clumps; a conveying section for conveying rice from the storage section to the dividing and forming section; a receiving section for placing the rice clumps formed by the dividing and forming section; a detection section for detecting the rice clumps placed in the receiving section; a display section; and a control section. The control section stops the forming of rice clumps when the detection section detects rice clumps. The control section displays a stop image on the display section after a predetermined stop time has elapsed since the rice clump formation stopped; the stop image shows that the rice clump formation by the dividing and forming section has stopped. The control section switches the image displayed on the display section to a long-duration stop image after a predetermined display time has elapsed since the start of the display of the stop image; the long-duration stop image shows that the rice clump formation by the dividing and forming section has stopped for an extended period of time.
