Piezoresistive force sensing structures and systems

Abstract

Force sensing structures and systems using piezoresistive elements, as well as methods of using such force sensing structures and systems are disclosed. In some embodiments, an apparatus may include a bridge circuit configured to detect a force applied to the apparatus, the bridge circuit comprising at least eight nodes and a plurality of piezoresistive elements, each of the plurality of piezoresistive elements coupling a node of the at least eight nodes to at least one neighboring node.
