This invention provides a snack that enhances its appeal. The snack 1 of this invention comprises: a main body 10; a character part C1 formed on the main body 10; and a background part formed around the character part C1 and on the main body 10; the background part has a first background part 31 without text information 38 and a second background part 32 containing text information 38, the second background part 32 being formed separately from the character part C1. In the snack 1, by separating the character part C1 and the second background part 32, it is easy to peel the character part C1 and the second background part 32 apart.
