Mouthpiece-type oral imaging device using lens-less camera and dental diagnosis and management system using the same

Abstract

The present invention is related to the use of Len-less camera and a mouthpiece with establishment of light-source to obtain images of front, back and occlusal surface of each tooth. At the same time, the continuous image is tracked, analyzed, diagnosed, managed and information is predicted according to time series by using the leaned AI algorithm. By means of this invention, the refinement, reliability and effectiveness of diagnosis, treatment and management of tooth can be improved. Plus, the images of each tooth taken under same conditions (shooting direction, magnification, position etc.) can be acquired regardless of proficiency of the photographer. Hence, this further improves the accuracy and effectiveness of diagnosis and treatment, also significantly reduces unnecessary time and labor consumption caused by photographing teeth with Len-less and mouthpiece-type oral imaging device as well as oral diagnosis and management system using the same.
