Abstract

This invention provides an ointment composition containing betamethasone valerate with good formulation stability. The above-mentioned ointment composition can be formulated by incorporating a nonionic surfactant with an HLB content of less than 5.0 into betamethasone valerate and a lipophilic base, or into betamethasone valerate, a lipophilic base, and clomiphene.
