Abstract

A golf bag with detachable cover comprises a bag body, a head frame, and a top cover. The bag body has an internal storage space extending along an axial direction and an opening located at the top side, which communicates with the storage space. The head frame is positioned inside the storage space of the bag body and is adjacent to the opening, with a gap formed radially between the head frame and the bag body. The top cover includes a first covering member and a second covering member, both positioned on the top side of the bag body and covering the opening. The first covering member is detachably connected to the bag body, with at least a portion extending into the gap between the head frame and the bag body for secure fixation.

Description

Golf bag with removable top cover This invention relates to golf bags, and more particularly to a golf bag with a detachable top cover. Note: Since its inception, golf has been loved by sports enthusiasts worldwide. With advancements in equipment design, golf bags have also evolved, from simple cloth bags to multifunctional carrying tools. Golf bags not only store clubs but also provide ample protection to ensure the equipment is not damaged during transport. Most golf bags on the market today use a soft-shell construction, especially the top cover. Soft-shell design has become a primary choice for reducing weight and improving portability. However, this design reveals some significant problems in certain situations. Because the top cover of a soft-shell structure is typically made of canvas, nylon, or polyester, it is soft and has limited elasticity. During the transportation of golf equipment, especially in air freight or when subjected to bumpy vehicle travel, a strong impact to the soft-shell top cover can easily damage or deform the clubhead. Furthermore, during transport or long-distance shipping, the soft-shell structure does not provide anti-theft protection and is easily cut or damaged, increasing the risk of lost or damaged equipment. In recent years, some manufacturers have attempted to solve the aforementioned problems and improve the user experience by changing the top cover of golf bags to a one-piece hard-shell material. However, while the conventional hard-shell top cover can protect the clubs, it cannot be removed from the golf bag. Therefore, when taking out the golf clubs, the hard-shell top cover will block part of the opening, which is very inconvenient. Therefore, how to provide a golf bag structure that can effectively solve the above problems is one of the urgent issues that industry players and R&D personnel in related fields need to address. The main objective of this invention is to provide a golf bag with a detachable top cover, which, in addition to providing protection during transportation, can also be removed for easy access to the golf clubs. To achieve the aforementioned objective, the present invention provides a golf bag with a detachable top cover, comprising: a bag body having an accommodating space extending along an axial direction, and an opening disposed on the top side of the bag body and communicating with the accommodating space; a head frame disposed within the accommodating space of the bag body and adjacent to the opening, and a gap being formed between the head frame and the bag body along a radial direction; and a top cover having a first covering and a second covering respectively disposed on the top side of the bag body and covering the opening; wherein the first covering is detachably connected to the bag body, and at least a portion thereof extends into the gap between the head frame and the bag body for fixation. In one embodiment, the bag body has a first abutment portion, a platform portion, and a second abutment portion; the first abutment portion extends axially along the bag body and abuts against the outer peripheral surface of the head frame; the platform portion is connected to the top of the first abutment portion and extends radially outward along the bag body; the second abutment portion is connected to one end of the platform portion away from the first abutment portion and extends axially along the bag body, and the outer peripheral surface of the first cover abuts against the second abutment portion. In one embodiment, the gap is formed between the second abutment and the head frame. In one embodiment, the first covering has a covering portion and an insertion portion. The insertion portion is generally in the shape of a semi-circular arc sheet, located on one side of the covering portion and extending in a direction away from the covering portion. When the first covering is connected to the bag body, the insertion portion is inserted into the gap, and the covering portion protrudes from above the bag body. In one embodiment, the second covering is made of a soft material, is fixed to one side of the bag body opposite to the first covering, and is connected to the covering part of the first covering via a zipper. In one embodiment, a connecting component is further included, disposed between the first covering and the bag body, for connecting the first covering to the bag body. In one embodiment, the connecting assembly has a first connector and a second connector; the first connector is disposed on the outer surface of the first covering; the second connector is disposed on the outer surface of the bag body and is detachably connected to the first connector. In one embodiment, the bag further includes a tripod assembly having a base and two tripods. The base is disposed on one side of the bag body, and the tripods are pivotally mounted on the base and can rotate between a folded position and an unfolded position. The side of the bag body opposite to the tripod assembly has two extensions spaced apart by a predetermined distance and extending outward, and a groove is formed between the two extensions. The tripods are accommodated in the groove when in the folded position. In one embodiment, the thickness of the extension along its extending direction is greater than the distance between the tripod and the bag body. In one embodiment, a golf bag with a detachable top cover is disclosed, comprising: a bag body having an accommodating space extending along an axial direction therein, and an opening disposed on the top side of the bag body and communicating with the accommodating space; a head frame disposed within the accommodating space of the bag body and adjacent to the opening, and a gap being formed between the head frame and the bag body along a radial direction; and a top cover having two first covering members disposed opposite to each other on the top side of the bag body and covering the opening; wherein each of the first covering members is detachably connected to the bag body, and at least a portion of it extends into the gap between the head frame and the bag body for fixation. The following are preferred embodiments based on the objectives, effects and structural configurations disclosed in this invention, and are described in detail with reference to the drawings. Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. The golf bag 1 with a detachable top cover provided in the first preferred embodiment of the present invention mainly comprises: a bag body 10, a head frame 20, a top cover 30, a connecting assembly 40, and a tripod assembly 50. Wherein: The bag body 10 is a hollow cylindrical component with an internal accommodating space 11 extending along one of its axial directions. The top side of the bag body 10 has an opening 12 communicating with the accommodating space 11. The accommodating space 11 is used to accommodate at least one golf club (not shown), and the opening 12 allows the golf club to enter and exit the accommodating space 11 of the bag body 10. The bag body 10, adjacent to the opening 12, has, from bottom to top, a first abutment portion 13, a platform portion 14, and a second abutment portion 15. The first abutment portion 13 extends along the axial direction of the bag body 10. The platform portion 14 is connected to the top of the first abutment portion 13 and extends radially outward along the bag body 10. The second abutment portion 15 is connected to the end of the platform portion 14 away from the first abutment portion 13 and extends along the axial direction of the bag body 10. The platform portion 14 is perpendicular to the first abutment portion 13 and the second abutment portion 15, such that the second abutment portion 15 is located radially outside the first abutment portion 13. In this embodiment, the bag body 10 is made of a rigid material, such as ABS plastic or PC plastic. The head frame 20 is a ring-shaped component disposed in the accommodating space 11 of the bag body 10, and has at least one compartment 21 in the center for each golf club disposed in the accommodating space 11 to pass through the compartments 21 for sorting. A portion of the outer surface of the head frame 20 abuts against the first abutting part 13 and is fixed to the first abutting part 13 by a fastener 22, and the other portion is opposite to the second abutting part 15, so that a gap 60 is formed between the head frame 20 and the second abutting part 15 of the bag body 10 along the radial direction of the bag body 10, and the platform part 14 is the bottom surface of the gap 60. The top cover 30 has a first covering 31 and a second covering 32 that are detachably connected, disposed opposite to each other on the side of the bag body 10 and covering the opening 12. In this embodiment, the first covering 31 is made of rigid material and has a covering portion 310 and an insertion portion 311. The covering portion 310 is generally a semi-elliptical hollow shell, and the insertion portion 311 is generally a semi-circular arc-shaped piece, connected to the bottom side of the covering portion 310 and extending away from the covering portion 310. When the first covering 31 is connected to the bag body 10, the insertion portion 311 is inserted into the gap 60 between the head frame 20 and the second abutment portion 15 to form a fixation, and the outer surface of the insertion portion 311 abuts against the second abutment portion 15, so that the covering portion 310 is exposed from the top of the bag body 10. The second covering 32 is made of soft material, and one end is fixed to one side of the bag body 10 opposite to the first covering 31, and is connected to the covering part 310 of the first covering 31 through a zipper 320. The connecting component 40 is disposed between the first covering 31 and the bag body 10 to connect the first covering 31 to the bag body 10. Specifically, the connecting component 40 has a first connector 41 and a second connector 42. The first connector 41 is disposed on the outer surface of the first covering 31; the second connector 42 is disposed on the outer surface of the bag body 10 and is detachably connected to the first connector 41. In this embodiment, the connecting component 40 is a four-button fastener structure. The tripod assembly 50 includes a base 51, two tripods 52, and an elastic element 53. The base 51 is fixed to one side of the bag body 10, and the tripods 52 are pivotally mounted on the base 51 and can be rotated between a folded position and an unfolded position. When the tripods 52 are in the folded position, they are parallel to the axis of the bag body 10 and fit against the bag body 10; when the tripods 52 are in the unfolded position, they are at a predetermined angle to the bag body 10 and rest against the ground, allowing the bag body 10 to be used at an angle. The elastic element 53 is provided on the bag body 10 and acts on the tripods 52 to cause the tripods 52 to tend to move from the unfolded position to the folded position. The bag body 10, on the side opposite to the tripod assembly 50, has two extensions 16 spaced apart at a predetermined distance and extending outward, and a groove 17 is formed between the two extensions 16. In the folded position, the two legs 52 of the tripod assembly 50 are housed within the groove 17, and the thickness of the extension 16 along its extension direction is greater than the distance between the two legs 52 and the bag body 10. Therefore, when the bag body 10 is transported flat, the two extensions 16 contact the ground while the two legs 52 do not, effectively preventing the two legs 52 from being damaged. According to the above structural configuration, in actual operation, the user can switch the top cover 30 between a closed state and an open state by operating the zipper 320. As shown in Figure 1, when the zipper 320 is pulled up, the top cover 30 switches to the closed state and closes the opening 12, preventing the golf clubs in the storage space 11 from being taken out. This closed state is usually the state when the golf bag is being stored or transported. In this state, the rigid first covering 31 can effectively protect the golf clubs inside the bag body 10. On the other hand, as shown in Figure 5, when the zipper 320 is pulled open, the top cover 30 switches to the open state, allowing the second covering 32 to separate from the first covering 31, thereby exposing the opening 12 and allowing the golf clubs in the storage space 11 to be taken out. This open state is usually the state when the golf bag is in use. Since the first cover 31 is detachable, when the user separates the first cover 31 from the second cover 32 and disconnects the first connector 41 and the second connector 42 of the connecting assembly 40, the first cover 31 can be removed from the bag body 10, fully exposing the opening 12 for taking out the golf club. After use, the insertion part 311 of the first cover 31 is inserted into the gap 60, and the first cover 31 is reconnected to the bag body 10 through the connecting assembly 40, thus completing the installation of the first cover 31. Therefore, the detachable structure of the first cover 31 effectively improves the flexibility of using the golf bag. Please refer to Figure 6. The golf bag with a detachable top cover provided in a second preferred embodiment of the present invention has a structure similar to that of the first preferred embodiment. However, in this embodiment, the connecting component 40 is a snap-fit ​​structure. Please refer to Figure 7. A golf bag with a detachable top cover, provided in a third preferred embodiment of the present invention, has a structure similar to the first preferred embodiment. However, in this embodiment, the top cover has two identical first covering members 31 disposed opposite each other on the top side of the bag body 10 and covering the opening 12. Each first covering member 31 is detachably connected to the bag body 10, and at least a portion of it extends into the gap 60 between the head frame 20 and the bag body 10 for fixation. Thus, both first covering members 31 can be removed from the bag body 10, fully exposing the opening 12, making it easier to retrieve the golf clubs from the accommodating space 11. In summary, the golf bag with a detachable top cover provided by the present invention, by configuring a detachable and sufficiently rigid first covering member on the top cover, not only provides protection for the golf clubs during transportation, but also allows for easy removal of the clubs during use, effectively improving the flexibility of the golf bag in use. On the other hand, by forming a groove for storing the tripod assembly with the two extensions, damage to the tripod assembly can be prevented during use or transportation. Claims

1. A golf bag with a detachable top cover includes: a bag body having an accommodating space extending along an axial direction, and an opening disposed on the top side of the bag body and communicating with the accommodating space; a head frame disposed within the accommodating space of the bag body and adjacent to the opening, and a gap being formed between the head frame and the bag body along a radial direction; and a top cover having a first covering and a second covering respectively disposed on the top side of the bag body and covering the opening; wherein the first covering is detachably connected to the bag body, and at least a portion thereof extends into the gap between the head frame and the bag body for fixation; The bag body has a first abutting portion, a platform portion and a second abutting portion; the first abutting portion extends along the axial direction of the bag body and abuts against the outer peripheral surface of the head frame; the platform portion is connected to the top of the first abutting portion and extends radially outward along the bag body; the second abutting portion is connected to one end of the platform portion away from the first abutting portion and extends along the axial direction of the bag body, and the outer peripheral surface of the first covering abuts against the second abutting portion. The golf bag with a detachable top cover as described in claim 1 further includes a tripod assembly having a base and two tripods. The base is located on one side of the bag body, and the tripods are pivotally mounted on the base and can rotate between a closed position and an open position. The side of the bag body opposite to the tripod assembly has two extensions spaced apart by a predetermined distance and extending outward, and a groove is formed between the two extensions.
