Abstract

This invention relates to a processing apparatus (10) for processing a substrate (12) of an electrochemical battery, comprising a mounting member (14) for the substrate (12) and a processing unit (16) for processing the substrate (12), and to a method for processing the substrate (12) of an electrochemical battery, particularly by means of the processing apparatus (10), wherein the substrate (12) is held by means of the mounting member (14) and processed by means of the processing unit (16). Furthermore, this invention relates to a substrate (12) for an electrochemical battery, which has been processed by means of such a processing apparatus (10) and / or by such a method. It is proposed that the substrate (12) is held by means of the mounting member (14), which is at least partially, particularly substantially, cylindrical in design. The invention relates to a machining device (10) for machining a substrate (12) for an electrochemical cell, comprising a mounting (14) for the substrate (12) and a machining unit (16) for machining the substrate (12), and to a method for machining a substrate (12) for an electrochemical cell, in particular by means of a machining device (10), wherein the substrate (12) is held by means of a mounting (14) and machined by means of a machining unit (16). Furthermore, the invention relates to a substrate (12) for an electrochemical cell, which has been machined by means of such a machining device (10) and / or by means of such a method. It is proposed that the substrate (12) is held by means of a mounting (14) which is at least partially, in particular substantially, of cylindrical design.
