Abstract

The purpose of this disclosure is to provide a hexagonal boron nitride powder for obtaining a resin composition that combines excellent thermal conductivity and insulation resistance. The hexagonal boron nitride powder of this disclosure is a hexagonal boron nitride powder containing hexagonal boron nitride aggregates, wherein the oil absorption is 60 mL / 100g to 90 mL / 100g, the content of particles with a particle size of 75 μm to 150 μm is 20% by mass or more, the particle size D10 of the cumulative volume frequency of the particle size distribution in the wet laser diffraction particle size distribution method is 5 μm to 15 μm, and the particle size D70s of the cumulative volume frequency of the particle size distribution in the wet laser diffraction particle size distribution method after ultrasonic treatment at 250W for 20 minutes with ethanol as the dispersion medium is 28 μm or more.
