Abstract
This invention relates to a composition comprising at least one polyamide, a method for manufacturing such a composition, and uses thereof, wherein the total amount of polyamide in the composition is at least 80% by weight, preferably 85 to 90% by weight, based on the total weight of the composition, characterized in that the composition further comprises at least one amorphous poly-α-olefin in an amount of 0.1 to 15% by weight based on the total weight of the polyamide and the amorphous poly-α-olefin present in the composition, wherein the amorphous poly-α-olefin is a C2C3C4 terpolymer and has a melting viscosity of 5000 to 60000 mPas at 190 °C, a softening point of 100 to 125 °C, a number average molecular weight Mn of 10000 to 20000 g / mol, a weight average molecular weight Mw of 40000 to 100000 g / mol, and a density of 0.865 to 0.9 g / cm3 at 23 °C. The present invention relates to a composition comprising at least one polyamide, wherein the total amount of polyamides in the composition is at least 80 % by weight, preferably 85 to 90 % by weight based on the total weight of the composition, characterized in that composition further comprises at least one amorphous poly-alpha-olefin in an amount of 0.1 to 15 % by weight based on the total weight of polyamides and amorphous poly-alpha-olefines present in the composition, wherein the amorphous poly-alpha-olefine is a C2C3C4 terpolymer and has a melt viscosity at 190 °C of from 5000 to 60000 mPas, a softening point of from 100 to 125 °C, a number average molecular weight Mn of from 10000 to 20000 g / mol, and a weight average molecular weight Mw of from 40000 to 100000 g / mol, and a density at 23 °C of from 0.865 to 0.9 g / cm3. to a process for producing such compositions and to the use thereof.
