Beer-flavored fermented beverages and their manufacturing methods

Abstract

The purpose of this invention is to provide a novel beer-flavored fermented beverage with a reduced purine concentration but a pleasant aroma. According to this invention, a beer-flavored fermented beverage is provided, wherein the purine concentration is 35,000 ppb or less, the malt content is 50% to 100%, and the hydrogen sulfide concentration is 0.2 ppb or more. Preferably, the malt content of the beer-flavored fermented beverage of this invention is 60% to 100%. Furthermore, the purine concentration is preferably 5,000 ppb or less.
