Abstract

This invention provides biological response modifiers (BRMs) useful for the treatment of various diseases. In one embodiment, the invention provides a biological response modifier (BRM) comprising small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) with a particle size distribution having a modulus of about 6 × 10¹⁰ vesicles / mL or more. In one embodiment, the invention provides a biological response modifier (BRM) comprising small extracellular vesicles (sEVs) having a particle size distribution having a particle size distribution having a particle size of about 100 to about 120 nm. In one embodiment, the biological response modifier (BRM) is obtained from the culture supernatant of mesenchymal stem cells. In one embodiment, the biological response modifier (BRM) is used to treat aging.
